⚫️ UNIT-1: PHRASES
- A phrase is a group of words standing together as a single grammatical unit, typically as a part of [or forming a component of] a clause or a sentence. A phrase doesn't contain a subject and verb.
- Based on the types of words that begin or govern the word group, phrases are in general of 8 types [or more]:
1- noun
2- verb
3- prepositional
4- infinitive
5- participle
6- gerund
7- absolute
8- adjective
9- adverb
10- appositive
